Kawa Bowl by Souda
A luxurious, one-of-a-kind piece from start to finish. The Souda Kawa Bowl is made out of pure white porcelain that is individually slip cast in a unique leather mold. The pebbly texture, wrinkles and seams of the mold are perfectly captured on the surface of each bowl. Based in Brooklyn, New York, Souda is a designer and manufacturer of contemporary furniture, home accessories and lighting. Both the Souda design philosophy and company name (which roughly translates to Oh, yeah! in Japanese) is inspired by that wonderful moment of epiphany during the design process. That sense of pleasure and excitement comes through in all of Souda's products.
